December is Valley Food Bank Month

At the

San Fernando Valley Chapter of Enrolled Agents

 Pull some items out of your cupboard or grab some coupons and pick up some food items at your local market and help those less fortunate during the Holiday Season.

The picture is from the chapter's 2016 food drive.  In addition to the food contributions, members contributed $520 in cash. 

The chapter is conducting a food drive at our December 11, 2017 meeting – All food items received will be donated to the Valley Food Bank for redistribution to families and those in need – Here is the wish list:

  • Baby Foods & Formula
  • *Beans – Dry or Canned
  • Canned Fruit
  • Canned Meats – Beef, Chicken, Spam and Tuna
  • Canned Soup, Stew and Chili
  • Canned Vegetables
  • *Cereal – Hot or Cold
  • Fruit Juice
  • Macaroni and Cheese
  • Pancake Mix (Complete)
  • Pasta and Noodles
  • Pasta Sauce
  • Peanut Butter and jelly/jam
  • *Rice
  • All Purpose Cleaner (Pine Sol)
  • Deodorant
  • Diapers (any size)
  • Disposable Razors
  • Laundry / Dishwashing Detergent

* Denotes items most needed.

Please bring your donation to the December 11, 2017 dinner meeting or contact Jennifer Coats, EA at jennifer@bernsteinfinancial.com for drop off or pick up arrangement.

If you would rather make a monitary contribution, the Valley Food Bank will happily accept a check.

Please note that for obvious reasons all donations must be unopened and in the manufacturers original packaging.
